Digital Marketing Manager (Mat Cover, 12–14 months)

Hays Marketing are currently supporting an Oxfordshire-based client who work within the retail/manufacturing sector with their need for an experienced digital marketing expert to cover a period of maternity.
The successful candidate will take ownership of all digital and media communications for the UK business and line manage a digital marketing executive while ensuring alignment globally with all digital activity.
The Role
- Work collaboratively with channel sales leads to develop digital media strategies
- Develop and execute retail media plans with DIY customers
- Work with e-commerce customers to maximise brand exposure
- Plan and execute print/digital media to support retail, projects initiatives and product launches
- Work with HQ to develop B2C paid social and search campaigns aimed at boosting brand awareness and engagement
- Oversee B2B and B2C communications across various platforms including website, email marketing and social media
- Manage the overall product website and content strategy, ensuring the site is up to date and aligned with marketing goals
- Work closely with HQ teams on SEO optimisation and new digital projects
- Work with external PR agency to manage press releases, media coverage and press interviews
- Create launch kits to support product launches and marketing campaigns
The Candidate
- Marketing degree or CIM qualification
- 4 years experience in similar roles (marketing and digital)
- Be able to demonstrate experience using data to inform results and maximise performance
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Able to manage multiple projects at the same time
