Strategise and manage digital campaigns, as well as taking the lead on SEO (on-page and technical)

Your new company

My client are a leading Financial Services brand, with a long history of providing lending, wealth management and banking services to B2B and B2C customers alike. British-based, the group consists of multiple business and this role will be responsible for the digital marketing activities of 4 B2B brands. The Digital Marketing Executive role is a permanent vacancy to be based at their Brighton offices, with hybrid working available.

Your new role

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will work as part of the wider Marketing team, acting like an in-house agency to four busy B2B financial brands. You will take the lead on Digital Marketing channels - strategising cross-channel campaigns, creating digital assets, guiding the Marketing Coordinator on Social Media content and strategy, driving media campaigns (primarily PPC), and defining audience segments and messaging for monthly email campaigns.

Pivotal to this role is SEO - the business relies on web-generated leads from traffic to the site. On-page and technical SEO play a huge part in heightening visibility of the various business units online and directing leads to data capture. You will review and develop the SEO strategy for several company websites, regularly r eviewing keywords, including long tail and short tail keywords, to provide insight for securing strong SEPRs. You will i mplement changes based on the insights from the data gathered by MOZ and Google Search Console to improve the SEO performance across the websites, identify new ranking opportunities, and report on the technical health of websites.

In line with this, you will also manage the customer journey online, particularly using the CMS to publish and optimise content. You will u ndertake regular health checks of websites to identify improvements needed and implement changes to keep websites optimised, improving the user experience, traffic, and conversions. You will implement A/B testing campaigns to measure the response of users to the proposed changes, keeping the user journey at the heart of all activities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in Digital Marketing channels; this can be broad and cross-channel as my client are willing to train and develop in various areas, but you must possess a good understanding of, and interest in, SEO. This includes on-page (keywords, content, HTML tags, URL, Metadata, image optimisation and internal links) off-page (backlinks, listings, PR) and technical (page speed, site structure, sitemaps). You must be able to plan and execute digital campaigns across a range of channels; PPC, email marketing, web management, social media, and possess strong project management, prioritisation and communication skills. You will ideally be able to create digital assets using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and must be able to work as part of a team to provide a joined-up marketing function.

Any experience with A/B testing, Google Analytics (GA4), Social Media channel management and Salesforce would be beneficial.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary of up to £38,000 (dependent on experience) and benefits including 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays, the ability to purchase up to an additional 5 days of annual leave per year, a generous pension scheme, an annual wellbeing day of leave, private healthcare, corporate gym discounts, and share schemes. There are also company and personal performance-related bonuses, and perks like Christmas parties and team days. The role is on a hybrid basis, a flexible working scheme balancing days in the office with days worked from home (typically a 3/2 split).
