My client is seeking a Software Developer to join their dynamic SaaS Product Support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge geospatial technologies that empower local governments across the UK and beyond.
About the Role
As a Support/Software Developer, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to maintaining and supporting a suite of SaaS products. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, assist clients remotely, and ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote support for desktop and web-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and data connections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain clear documentation of support cases and communications.
- Manage multiple support cases simultaneously.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Technically adept and a natural problem solver.
- Experienced in .NET web development (C# or VB), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Comfortable writing simple scripts (e.g., Python).
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiar with Windows OS and basic system administration tasks.
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience with local government operations.
- Exposure to GIS technologies, especially ESRI ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of property appraisal or tax systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, MIS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
