Full Time Design Technology Teacher required at an Outstanding School in Blackburn – February Half Term

Your new school is a large secondary school with academy status located in central Blackburn. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11–16. The school has recently been graded as Outstanding in all areas by OFSTED and as a result, has established an excellent reputation in the local community. Your new role
Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Design Technology to KS4. The role is to commence from February half term and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis covering a staff absence. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Design Technology to KS4. You must be able to commence the role from February half term and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
