Overview: Technical Trainer - RCDF (Redefining Clinical Data Flow) – Product/Software Trainer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trainer to lead the implementation of new systems within our clinical trials processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical trials data management, data review processes, and possess the technical expertise necessary to provide comprehensive system training.
Your New Role
- Deliver training programs for the implementation of new clinical trials systems, focusing on data review, cleaning activities, and workflow processes – demos and instructor-led sessions.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in utilizing data review tools and systems, including Saama: SDQ and PI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor training programs to specific clinical trials projects and ensure effective knowledge transfer. Manages stakeholders – e.g. Business Process Owners, Business Learning Leads – to ensure developed solutions meet business needs in an impactful way.
- Provides learning technology expertise and researches best deployment & assignment methods for developed solutions.
- Analyses evaluation data for learning solutions & identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manages project planning & execution to deliver learning solutions.
- Enterprise Online trainer experience
- Test site exercise development
Essential Skills
- In-depth understanding of clinical trials processes, data management, and data review activities.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for developing data review tools and conducting data analysis.
- Experience with Saama systems, particularly SDQ and PI, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teaching abilities, with a proven track record of effectively training teams in technical subjects.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials data management.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage audiences on-line
- Proficiency in reading and responding to non-verbal cues from participants
- Capability to adapt training pace and style based on immediate participant feedback
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, computer science, data management).
- Prior experience in a clinical trials environment, preferably in a role involving data management or system implementation.
- Certification or training in instructional design or adult learning principles is a plus.
