Overview: I'm looking for a versatile and imaginative mid-weight Interior Designer to join a collaborative, design-led studio delivering high-quality hospitality and student accommodation schemes. You’ll be a creative thinker with strong technical skills and the drive to take on more project responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on interior projects across RIBA stages, contributing to concept through delivery
- Create impactful presentation decks, FF&E packages, and detailed drawing sets
- Collaborate with architects and consultants to ensure design integrity
- Conduct site visits and coordinate installation processes
- Research materials and trends to align with evolving client briefs
- Contribute to design reviews and project milestones
You’ll Need:
- 3–5 years of interior design experience, ideally in hospitality or student living
- A strong eye for concept development and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (Revit a bonus)
- Familiarity with RIBA stages and project delivery workflows
- A collaborative and proactive approach
- A strategic, organised mindset and a passion for great design
- Drive the design narrative across all stages, from concept to completion
- Lead client presentations and stakeholder coordination
- Manage FF&E specifications, tender packages, and delivery documentation
- Attend site meetings and oversee installations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to studio design culture
- Ensure programme and budget alignment
