Your new role

As a Site Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of new-build private housing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all on-site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitoring project progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Liaising with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure seamless communication.
  • Resolving any on-site issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting on project milestones.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, ideally within new-build private housing.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, or equivalent).
