Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager with Career Progression - Liss GU33

Your new role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager (with expectations to progress within the company) or a Registered manager, to lead our domiciliary care service in Liss. This is a crucial role, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations.

Salary from £28K-£35 depending on the role, experience and qualifications.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Experience
  • Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience in upskilling and developing teams
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK Driving licence and access to own car.
Desirable Experience:
  • Previous experience in the care sector and in domiciliary care is preferred, but not essential.
  • Level 5 qualification in adult and social care or an equivalent field is desirable, or a willingness to work towards it.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience in upskilling and developing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in growing a domiciliary care branch.
  • The ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, especially within local authorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care services, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality, and person-centered care.
  • Build and maintain a robust care team, fostering a supportive and positive working environment.
  • Take ownership of budgeting and P&L management.
  • Oversee the office support team and ensure all services and practices are compliant with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a positive reputation and ensure continuity of care.
  • Implement effective policies, procedures, and best practices for all aspects of care, quality assurance, and safety.
  • Prepare and lead the team through any upcoming CQC inspections, ensuring readiness and high standards.
  • Drive service improvement and support growth by developing new care packages and expanding client engagement.
