Find and Apply for Data Business Analyst Jobs

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join our client on a long-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and improving data structures, governance, and insight across the organisation.

Your new role

• Facilitate workshops and gather business and data requirements from stakeholders
• Analyse existing documentation and workshop outputs to identify key insights
• Produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to explain data clearly
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve data-related issues
• Develop and maintain data glossaries, data catalogues, and data dictionaries
• Operate within an agile delivery environment
• Design and develop database structures and data models

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in data modelling, including concepts such as cardinality, normalisation, entity-relationship modelling, dimensional and hierarchical models, Kimball methodology, primary and foreign keys
• Proven ability to use modelling and collaboration tools such as Lucidchart, MS Visio, Miro (or similar)
• Experience producing reports and presentations that translate data into meaningful insights
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Good understanding of data governance principles, including data retention and GDPR
