Are you an ambitious or aspiring Data Analyst looking for a new opportunity?

The role

As a Data Analyst, you will provide key support to Registry Services in the management of the university’s student records system (SRS), including writing queries and reports to extract, format, and analyse data from the SRS and other administrative systems. You will also serve as a first point of contact for queries and support from internal stakeholders.

Additionally, you will co-ordinate and produce accurate, valid, and timely internal data sets and reports, identify and implement improvements to increase system use across the university, and maintain data accuracy while enhancing the effectiveness of processes relating to student administration.

Your profile

  • Strong proficiency with SQL and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Proven experience working with Student Record Systems (SRS)
  • Experience testing, implementing, and migrating data to SRS
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex problems and advise on appropriate solutions
  • Experience working with a complex database, such as SRS
  • Experience with query languages and reporting tools to develop and produce a wide range of reports, returns and data analysis
  • Experience maintaining data accuracy and enhancing the effectiveness of processes relating to student administration
  • Salesforce experience a plus, but not required
