Hays are now looking for a Business Analyst for one of our local clients:

• £430 p/d Inside IR35
• 1/2 days a week onsite, the rest is WFH
• Location is Glasgow
• Must have financial services experience

• Analyse and document AS-IS and TO-BE business processes across the Funds Middle Office.
• Gather, define and document business, functional and technical requirements.
• Create process maps, data flows and system integration documentation.
• Work with Developers, Architects and vendors to define solution designs and technical specifications.
• Assess the impact of changes across business processes, data flows and system integrations.
• Support data mapping and integration design across APIs, messaging platforms and batch processing solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Compliance and third-party vendors.
• Support SIT and UAT activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Funds Middle Office and trade settlement processes.
• Experience working within Investment Management, Asset Management or Capital Markets environments.
• Experience analysing system integrations, interfaces and data flows.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, messaging technologies and batch processing.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience producing process maps, data mapping and technical documentation.
• Comfortable working with Developers, Architects and technical delivery teams.
