Your new company

You will be working for a global manufacturing business, specialising in the design, production and distribution of bespoke and technical products. The company is looking for an experienced Forecasting and Inventory Analyst to come on board and proactively manage client forecasts, stock levels and demand data, ensuring product is ordered and ultimately delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, with full adherence to customer stock holding requirements whilst achieving minimum SLA’s.

Your new role

As a Forecasting and Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for procuring products from approved sources in a timely manner to meet customer SLAs, ensuring delivery at the right time and quantity. You will adhere to budgetary constraints, manage cash flows, and maintain customer stock holding requirements while achieving minimum SLAs. Your role includes monitoring stock fulfilment rates and driving improvements through continuous refinement of forecasting systems. You will manage all raw material requirements, ensuring accurate forecasting and system updates. Additionally, you will book future production capacity with suppliers and manage current production. In conjunction with sourcing, you will monitor and improve individual account margins against the budget and drive margin improvement initiatives. Achieving all critical path key dates and ensuring effective transactional processes are also key responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as an effective team member. They must be numerate, accurate, and capable of meeting deadlines while prioritising and managing workloads efficiently. Strong organisational and administrative skills, along with keen attention to detail, are essential. The candidate should be proactive and adaptable, able to thrive in a busy environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels are required, as well as good computer literacy, particularly with Excel and Outlook. Experience of dealing with suppliers and managing expectations is also necessary.

What you'll get in return

For this role you will receive a permanent contract alongside an annual salary of up to £35,000 DOE. The position will be on-site Mon-Fri, 08:30–17:00.
