Data Analyst

Your new company

You’ll be joining a government organisation undergoing a strategic transformation in its business intelligence and reporting capabilities. The Business Intelligence Team is a small, collaborative unit focused on delivering high-quality data analysis and reporting across the organisation.

Your new role

As a Data Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of a new Reporting Strategy, helping to define KPIs, reporting standards, and improve stakeholder engagement. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader on strategic initiatives, manage service requests via ServiceNow, and produce dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, MS Excel, and SQL Server. You’ll also support systems such as MS Project Online, Salesforce CRM, and Oracle.

This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, requiring at least 60% on-site attendance, with occasional travel to other UK locations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Senior-level experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within government or regulated environments.
  • Advanced skills in M365 tools, Power BI, SQL Server, and MS Project.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Project management and change impact assessment capabilities.
  • British nationality and eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance, including UK residency for at least 2 of the last 5 years.

What you'll get in return

  • A 12-month contract with potential extension up to 24 months.
  • Daily rate up to £550 via Umbrella
  • Flexible working hours and a supportive hybrid working policy.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation project.
  • Professional development through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
