Customer Services Representative, London, £30,000 + Bonus, Logistics/Retail Business, Immediate Start!

Our client, a leading Supply Chain/Logistics business whom exclusively service the Luxury Retail industry, are looking to recruit a personable, enthusiastic Customer Services Representative to join their small Central London operation. Based in the heart of London's 'Diamond District' in Hatton Garden, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.

Our client have been established for over 60 years, and are the world's leading Logistics Provider to the international Diamond/Gem/Jewellery industry. A fantastic client of ours, we have placed here previously and have a great working relationship. Due to an influx/upturn in business, they are now actively seeking the perfect candidate to join their small team in handling customer queries, offering an incredible service to all clients. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving and processing shipment bookings from customers
- Effectively liaising with the company's internal Operations department
- Managing a high volume of emails and phone calls
- Physically handling and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction
- Communicating with customers to ensure they are made aware of any delays or issues with shipments
- Proactively recommending improvements, which contribute to improved customer service and team effectiveness

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Experience of working in an office environment
- Experience of liaising with external customers over the phone/email
- Articulate telephone manner
- Genuine desire to help customers
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook, tec)
- Fun, sociable personality

In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £29,000 - £30,000, our client are also offering the following:

- Annual bonus (based on individual/company performance)
- Fantastic working hours (Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.30pm)
