Logistics and Projects Administrator

Your new company

Hays are working with a large and growing Manufacturing business in Telford who are looking to appoint a Sales and Projects Administrator on a permanent basis this is to provide administrative and operational support to the Projects department, ensuring effective communication, documentation management, and coordination across customer experience and logistics functions.


Your new role

As a Logistics and a Projects Administrator, your role will involve:

  • Support direct communication with customers, intercompany teams, and partners.
  • Maintain and update customer contact information in the CRM system.
  • Track and update Work in Progress in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist with inbound sales order management and processing.
  • Manage project documentation and support documentation creation for sales order receipt and processing.
  • Adhere to company Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and processes.
  • Escalate issues and complaints appropriately.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate stock and inventory control with the Stores Department.
  • Perform additional duties within skill and competence range as required by the business.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, agile business environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in stock control.
  • Customer-facing experience with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and eager to grow within the company.
  • Experience with Sage 50 or 200, or similar accounting/planning software (preferred).
