We are recruiting for a trusted local contractor based in Worcestershire, currently looking for a skilled and reliable painter to join their team in the planned works department. This role involves working on void social housing properties, preparing and decorating interiors to a high standard, ensuring homes are ready for new tenants.

Your new role

Job Title: Painter– Social Housing (Void Properties)
Location: Worcestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm agreement after 13 weeks
Salary: £150 - £170 per day (Umbrella). Please note we do not pay via CIS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and paint internal walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
  • Carry out minor surface repairs and patching as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in domestic painting and decorating (social housing experience preferred)
  • Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Own tools and transport desirable (van and fuel card may be provided)
