About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented painter to join the facilities' management team at a hospital located in the heart of Westminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of painting and decorating throughout the hospital, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks across hospital facilities, including wards, offices, and public areas.
- Prepare surfaces by filling cracks, sanding, and applying primers where necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, following health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and facilities staff to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely and correctly.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably within healthcare, commercial, or institutional settings.
- Working knowledge of paints, coatings, and various application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in maintenance and construction.
