A leading organisation within its sector is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its established finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a credit professional looking to take ownership of multiple ledgers while working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Your new role
As the Credit Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure strong cashflow and minimal overdue debt. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll oversee credit checks, credit limit management, invoice processing, daily cash allocation, and the resolution of debit notes and deductions. You’ll also play a key role in improving internal controls, supporting period-end processes, and producing regular debt reports for senior leadership.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong background in credit control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and resilience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Good IT proficiency, including Excel and finance systems.
