SME Financial Controller Nottinghamshire

Hays Senior Finance are working with a growing SME (part of an international group) in East Nottinghamshire looking to recruit a Financial Controller.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for a team of 4 in the accounts office undertaking ensuring all work in ledgers, credit control, VAT and bookkeeping, as well as producing management and financial accounts, extensive reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cashflows and payroll/HR. In addition, there will be a process improvement/systems implementation programme for the next 12–18 months.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant/MBA with a proven history of financial control roles in SME's including staff management. You will have commercial and accounting acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong IT and process improvement capabilities. Experience of import/expert, multi-currencies and systems implementation/change management are highly desirable. The role is office based, so you will need to be living in close commute of the East/North Nottinghamshire area.
