Temporary Credit Controller – Leeds | £25,000–£30,000
We’re working with a well-established, fast-growing distributor based in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, office-based role offering an immediate start and the chance to support a busy, close-knit team during a key period.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing your own ledger and chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
- Liaising with credit insurers and following internal processes to minimise risk
- Resolving queries quickly and maintaining strong relationships across the business
- Allocating payments accurately using Sage 200
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Keeping detailed records and ensuring accounts are up-to-date
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in credit control
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Tenacious, personable, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and team collaboration
- Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage 200 experience is a bonus.
