Are you a proactive Credit Controller with a passion for driving results and building strong stakeholder relationships? Join a dynamic Finance team supporting high-performing colleagues in a UK based business
This is a front-line opportunity to make a real impact on working capital management, debt recovery, and revenue optimisation. You’ll work closely with the Credit Manager and collaborate across departments to deliver strategic credit control solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain key client relationships to support timely recovery
- Lead regular reviews and proactive chasing of outstanding debts
- Deliver detailed debtor analysis and ensure SLA compliance
- Work with stakeholders resolve issues and develop recovery strategies
- Support reconciliations and ad hoc financial reporting
- Escalate problem debts in line with policy and drive resolution
- Hit monthly cash collection and ageing targets
- Champion best practices using finance systems
- Facilitate internal meetings to align on working capital strategy
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and policies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit control within professional services (insurance or legal is a MUST)
- Strong commercial collections background and financial controls knowledge
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Self-starter with a flexible, positive attitude
- Collaborative team player with a growth mindset
