Your new role
As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in the management and collection of Accounts Receivable, working closely with sales staff to ensure debt management policies are strictly adhered to.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Opening new accounts and checking credit ratings
  • Setting and monitoring credit limits
  • Building and maintaining effective customer relationships to encourage timely recovery of payments
  • Negotiating and agreeing payment plans with customers
  • Handling disputed amounts and resolving issues efficiently
  • Responding promptly to customer and internal enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate customer files and records
  • Providing accounts information to senior management
  • Contributing to the overall success of the team by promoting a positive work environment and ‘can-do’ attitude


What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a Credit Control environment, ideally dealing with a high volume of customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry would be an advantage
