Your new company

I am currently working on behalf of a rapidly growing business based in Belfast to recruit an experienced credit Controller to join their existing finance team. This is a well-established and market-leading company that has ambitious plans to grow the business in the coming years.

Your new role

Working within the existing team, you will be responsible for a range of duties that include:

• Taking a proactive role in managing the debtor’s ledgers, ensuring debt is collected from customers within credit terms

• Ensuring all payments received are posted and allocated to the ledgers in a timely and accurate manner

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth running of accounts

• Resolving queries both internally and externally on any outstanding invoices

• Coordinating the month-end statement runs for customers

What you'll need to succeed

You possess a minimum of 2 years relevant credit control experience in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You should be accurate, efficient and organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed and the ability to maintain strong relationships with customers. You should be able to work independently and have a willingness to take on additional tasks and challenges.
