Your new role
As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in the management and collection of Accounts Receivable, working closely with sales staff to ensure debt management policies are strictly adhered to.

- Opening new accounts and checking credit ratings
- Setting and monitoring credit limits
- Building and maintaining effective customer relationships to encourage timely recovery of payments
- Negotiating and agreeing payment plans with customers
- Handling disputed amounts and resolving issues efficiently
- Responding promptly to customer and internal enquiries
- Maintaining accurate customer files and records
- Providing accounts information to senior management
- Contributing to the overall success of the team by promoting a positive work environment and ‘can-do’ attitude
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Credit Control environment, ideally dealing with a high volume of customers
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
- Knowledge of the agricultural industry would be an advantage
