Your New Job
Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join a specialist primary school in Manchester, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and profound learning disabilities. This full-time role involves working closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them access tailored learning and develop essential life skills.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school, nursery, or care setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Hays.
