Part-time (3 Days) EYFS/KS1 Cover Teacher required for a Manchester primary school in September

Part-Time Early Years & KS1 Cover Teacher (3 Days per Week)
Location: North Manchester
Contract Type: Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Start Date: September 2026
Salary:Negotiable

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated Early Years & Key Stage 1 Cover Teacher for a welcoming primary school in North Manchester for three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for young children.
The successful candidate will provide planned cover across our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classes, working closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning and excellent pupil outcomes.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS and KS1.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and early years development.
  • Is flexible, organised and able to build positive relationships quickly.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm to teaching and learning.
