We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated Early Years & Key Stage 1 Cover Teacher for a welcoming primary school in North Manchester for three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for young children.
The successful candidate will provide planned cover across our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classes, working closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning and excellent pupil outcomes.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS and KS1.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and early years development.
- Is flexible, organised and able to build positive relationships quickly.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm to teaching and learning.
