Flexible Day-to-Day Supply Cover Teacher with Strong Behaviour Management
About Us: HAYS are a well-established supply teaching agency dedicated to providing high-quality cover teachers to schools across Birmingham. Our goal is to ensure that every classroom has a capable and confident teacher, even on short notice.
The Role:We are looking for adaptable and skilled Supply Cover Teachers who value flexibility and have excellent behaviour management skills. This role is perfect for teachers seeking the freedom to choose their assignments and work on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Maintain a well-managed and orderly classroom environment.
- Consistently apply school-specific behaviour management policies.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide feedback to the agency and regular teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different teaching environments and subjects.
- Enhanced DBS as we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
