Cover Supervisor
35 hours per week, term time only - Permanent
NJC SCP5-SCP11 - Salary range £24,790-£27,269 pa (pro rata part time, term time only salary range £20,170 - £22,187 gross pa)
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to the post of Cover Supervisor.
St Thomas More Catholic School is secondary school educating children aged 11–18. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the work set by the teacher. This role is ideal for a postgraduate considering a career in teaching, as the school is keen to offer support with teacher training for the right candidate.
The successful appointee should possess:
• Degree level qualification (desirable)
• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
• Good communication skills – written and oral
• Ability to use negotiating and persuasive skills
• Team player
Closing date: 12 noon, Thursday 15th May 2025
