Your new role
Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties. As a key member of our clients' responsive repair team, you’ll play a vital role in providing essential painting and decorating services to social housing tenants across the borough — ensuring homes are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.
- Carry out damp and mould treatment works within occupied and void social housing properties
- Diagnose causes of damp, condensation, and mould issues and undertake appropriate remedial action
- Apply anti-fungal washes, paints, and other specialist treatments as required
- Complete minor plastering, decorating, and associated repair works following treatment
- Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service, respecting residents’ homes and privacy at all times
- Accurately complete job sheets and paperwork, updating supervisors as required
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience in damp and mould treatment and general property maintenance.

- Must have a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
- Previous experience as a qualified Tradesperson is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to operate small hand-held plants such as drills and breakers etc.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Trade related qualification, City and guilds craft, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card or working towards
