About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable cover supervisor to support a secondary school in the Chichester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to make a positive impact in the classroom.
As a cover supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson pans and ensure learning continues smoothly.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide support to students across a range of subjects.
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous experience working with young people (school-based or similar).
- Confidence to lead a class and engage students in learning.
- A flexible and proactive attitude.
(QTS is not required for this role, but teaching or classroom experience is highly desirable.)
