Your new role:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Experience with classroom behavioural management and following the school’s policies and procedures to maintain a positive learning environment
- Deliver engaging sessions across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach in specialised subjects.
- Step into diverse classrooms across the coastal towns of Blackpool, Fleetwood and Lytham.
- Adapt quickly to different school cultures and follow lesson plans.
- Inspire students to achieve their best, even in short-term placements.
About you,
We are seeking professionals who are:
- You do not need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or subject specialism for the role. However, you must have experience working with young people either in a school setting or other environments such as youth care, social care, charity work or mentoring.
- Experience in behavioural management and be able to build a rapport.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive in supporting schools at short notice.
- The right to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
