Senior Maintenance Assistant/ Maintenance Supervisor
Are you a skilled leader? We're looking for a Maintenance Team Supervisor to coordinate and oversee our maintenance team, ensuring efficient responses to both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage daily maintenance requests, distributing tasks to team members.
- Handle day-to-day maintenance activities, including furniture delivery, general repairs, and event setup.
- Plan and organise room relocations, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Conduct and update risk assessments, ensuring safe working practices.
- Supervise and motivate the maintenance team, providing training and performance appraisals.
- Attend bi-weekly meetings to report on workload and projects.
- Manage procurement of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate with other departments for events and tasks.
- Provide emergency on-call cover as needed.
What We Need:
- Experience leading a maintenance team.
- Knowledge of multi-trade repairs and furniture assembly.
- Strong organisational and carpentry skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer literacy (Outlook, Excel).
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy items.
- Valid driving license and ability to use a bicycle for site travel.
- Relevant certifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IPAF) are highly desirable.

- Pay:
Circa £36k per annum. - Hours:
39 hours/week (Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm). - Holiday:
25 days + 8 public holidays. - Meals:
Free lunch provided during duty hours.
