Exciting opportunity working for a Sheffield based client, specialising in property development.

Your new role

• Overseeing budget costs and spending, working closely with management to manage forecasts and provide quarterly updates for the company's financial success.
• Liaising regularly with budget holders and department heads.
• Analysing data and identifying variances.
• You will provide insightful management accounts with commentary and reporting, regular meetings with heads of departments to support them in making informed decisions.
• Offering robust support to the management team through detailed analysis, and resolving queries, and other financial assistance.
• You will be involved in procurement, where you'll set up suppliers, manage tender exercises, and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
• You'll also play a crucial role in facilitating order production and collaborating with the central finance team for seamless invoice matching, processing, payments, and handling charges and queries.
• You will also support with the year-end financial audit.

What you'll need to succeed

Proficient in accounting, analytics, and numerical tasks
An AAT qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Capable of interpreting and understanding business operations

What you'll get in return

• Salary £29,000 pro rata depending on experience
