Your new company

A big 4 world-leading professional services firm is seeking a qualified Corporate Tax Manager to join their tax team, supporting their exciting and standout growth strategy. Within this role you will be managing a diverse portfolio of clients including UK-listed, PE backed and privately owned businesses and delivering high quality advice on various aspects of corporate tax. They are happy to bespoke a position around your skill set, so interested in both niche and generalist corporate tax professionals.

Your new role

In your new role as a Corporate Tax Manager you will:

  • Engage with assigned clients and target organisations in a market-facing role.

  • Collaborate with the client service team and colleagues across tax, audit, and accounting disciplines to provide a coordinated service, including managing and delivering tax compliance services.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new work.

  • Keep clients informed about developments in corporate tax that may impact their businesses.

  • Communicate with market stakeholders and introduce relevant specialists from across the firm.

  • Set an example in client relationships, technical quality, and service delivery.

  • Promote the team and personal profile within internal networks to foster collaboration and generate internal leads.

  • Participate in business development and proposal activities.

  • Oversee engagement quality, risk processes, and client financials.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will be ACCA, ACA, ATT or CTA with a background in a client facing corporate tax position.

  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.

  • Demonstrates technical expertise in our specialist markets.

  • Maintains a high level of drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude that inspires the team.

  • Adopts an inclusive, collaborative approach and interacts respectfully with colleagues, clients, and the broader community.

  • Provides valuable insights and effectively applies knowledge to address business and client challenges.
