Corporate lawyer position for NQ-2 qualified solicitors. Office based in Leeds city centre.
I'm currently working with a very popular and highly regarded law firm with a number of offices across the Yorkshire region. An opportunity has arisen in my client's Leeds Corporate team for a solicitor between the NQ and 2PQE level. This is a full "360" role and will involve direct contact with clients and the opportunity to get involved with high-quality work in an environment which is consistently regarded as being amongst the leading practices for junior lawyer development.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working in a busy Company/Commercial team during training and/or post qualification and is looking to be part of a thriving team with a wide selection of corporate work. The successful candidate will have had experience of assisting in acquisitions and/or disposals of businesses, assisting with due diligence and data room management and the preparation of board minutes, shareholder resolutions, Companies House forms and filing, drafting shareholders agreements and articles, and potentially also experience of matters such as share buybacks and share for share exchanges.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in ongoing business development and be part of firmwide networking initiatives across the region.
