Your new role
As a Senior Lawyer within our Legal Services Team based in Birmingham, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Legal Services. You will manage a sub-team of 6-7 skilled legal professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely legal advice to internal clients. Your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating legal risks, advising senior stakeholders, and collaborating across the organisation to achieve strategic objectives. Strong relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders will be essential.

What you'll need to succeed
- Significant post-qualification experience as a solicitor or barrister qualified in England & Wales.
- Proven experience of managing a legal team and delivering high-quality legal advice.
- Expertise in public law, with additional experience in regulatory, enforcement, and information/privacy law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
