Floor Fitter | Full time | 38.5 hours PW | Immediate Start | North West based
Your new company
You will be working for a well-established flooring contractor based in the Northwest and proud members of the CFA Contract Flooring Association. We deliver high-quality flooring and wall cladding solutions to a diverse client base including NHS trusts, universities, government buildings, and principal contractors. With project values ranging from £500 to over £500,000, our work is managed by dedicated Contracts Managers and supported by a skilled team.
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Floor Fitter to join our growing team. Based in Chorley, you will work across client sites throughout the Northwest region, installing a wide range of commercial floor coverings and contributing to the continued success of our business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must be a time-served floor layer with proven experience in commercial flooring installation and sub-floor preparation. You will be competent in fitting:
- Screeding
- Plywood
- Safety Flooring
- Coved Skirting
- Carpets
- Carpet Tiles
Essential requirements:
- CSCS card
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Minimum 2 years’ flooring experience
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Desirable qualifications:
- Blue Skilled CSCS Card
- NVQ Level 2 in Resilient Floor Coverings
