12-month FTC - Contracts Manager role at an exciting public sector organisation in the North-west
12-month Fixed-Term Contract with an exciting public sector organisation in the North-west. Focusing on waste management and environmental clean-up.
Your new role
The Commercial and Contract Management team requires a Contract Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract, to lead, direct and develop Framework Contracts. This will involve managing a team, providing leadership, expert advice, guidance and direction to the commercial team and the wider business. Ensuring the organisation delivers the services, manages new and residual commercial risks, and realises opportunities and benefits through the Frameworks and Contracts for both suppliers and customers.
The appointed individual will ensure the consistent application of the contract management disciplines within the business, lead in enhancing and developing the frameworks & contracts and to support the delivery of the strategic vision.
The role would report into the Departmental Head but must maintain a close working relationship with Delivery Teams and any programmes or projects which support the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Have experience working in the public sector
- Experience with contract management
- Have line-manager experience
- Familiar with NEC contracts
