Electrical Contracts Manager – Major Projects | Leading M&E Contractor

A prominent M&E contractor is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join their Major Projects Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a positive, team-oriented approach.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of these complex and varied projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage procurement of plant, materials, and subcontractor packages.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team, including staff management and labour control.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and effective communication.
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Oversee ordering and management of site equipment and materials.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to GB on a weekly basis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Well-organised and methodical in planning and execution.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
