Your new role
My client are seeking an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to join their team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage contract processes efficiently while supporting their mission to deliver sustainable construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards
Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction to project completion
Provide expert contractual advice to project teams and stakeholders
Identify and mitigate contractual risks
Maintain accurate records and documentation
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction, especially Fitout & Refurb experience
Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Interest or experience in sustainable construction is a strong advantageSMSTS, First Aid & CSCS is a bonus
