A-Level Computer Science Teacher needed for a college in west London

Your new company

Hays Education is working with a highly regarded Sixth Form College in West London to recruit an exceptional A-Level Computer Science Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and forward‑thinking institution renowned for its academic standards and supportive culture.
The role will begin on a part‑time hourly‑paid basis (£30–£50 per hour) with the strong possibility of progressing to a full-time, permanent position from September 2026, subject to performance and departmental needs.

Your new role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across A-Level Computer Science, inspiring students to achieve outstanding results. The successful candidate will show enthusiasm for their subject, strong pedagogical understanding, and the ability to engage and motivate ambitious learners.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates must have:
  • A good degree from a leading university
  • Strong A-level results (or equivalent academic background)
  • Proven A-level teaching experience
    • Experience within the private/independent sector is preferred but not essential
  • A passion for Computer Science and for supporting student achievement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
