Teaching within the department is considered to be outstanding and we work hard, under a determined leadership, to raise the standards of teaching, learning and examination performance in Computer Science. Therefore, we require a teacher who has experience of teaching Computer Science and IT at KS3, 4 and 5. We believe in teaching students a range of skills, in addition to standard academia. We aim to meet the holistic needs of each student and consider their well-being in everyday teaching.
The role:
We are looking for a Computer Science specialist with a track record of quality teaching or someone with outstanding potential
* To ensure that Computer Science quality of education and outcomes are excellent.
* To take a proactive role in the strategic development of Computer Science across the Academy and to support the delivery of a broad, balanced and rich curriculum.
Why you should join us:
You will get a real opportunity to make a difference within a school which encourages students and staff to be aspirational. High achieving teachers have access to an accelerated leadership programme linked to NPQs.
Staff wellbeing is a priority, and the Trust provides an employee assistance programme to support staff. All teaching staff receive a work laptop.
