A County Council is seeking an experienced Property Compliance Manager

Your new company

We are working with a leading County Council who is seeking to recruit an experienced Property Compliance Manager. This is a pivotal role ensuring full compliance across the Big Six statutory areas:

  • Gas Safety
  • Electrical Safety
  • Fire Safety
  • Water Hygiene
  • Asbestos Management
  • Lift Safety

You will be responsible for driving compliance strategies, managing risk, and ensuring all properties meet regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a tangible impact in a high-profile local authority environment.

Your new role

  • Oversee compliance programmes for the Big Six across housing stock and corporate properties.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory obligations and best practice guidelines.
  • Manage contractor performance and maintain robust compliance records.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and remedial actions to mitigate risk.
  • Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and deliver compliance reports.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in property compliance within a local authority or housing context.
Strong knowledge of statutory requirements for the Big Six.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead compliance programmes and manage contractors effectively

You will need to have a qualification related to the field; may that be a NEBOSH, Beng or HND/HNC
