Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate content for new microsite
- Organisation of microsite project
- Liaise with external contractor to develop design and functionality
- Rewrite copy and content from current site to meet SEO requirements
- Organise dialogue and approval with key stakeholders
- Upload content to CMS
- Content creation: write and edit high-quality, technical content from research reports, interviews, and more, ensuring the content is accessible to various audiences
- Manage editorial calendar
- Support on events, liaising with internal attendees to support with presentation and display materials
- Writing materials and working with copywriters and designers to create infographics, blogs, and social media posts
Person specification
- Experienced in developing and managing websites that help audiences make sense of complex and technical topics
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work at pace, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in using digital communications tools and platforms
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across cultures
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for lay audiences. Science communication or journalism skills would be a huge bonus
- Interest in science, sustainable development, and public engagement is desirable
