Are you a creative communicator with a startup mindset, ready to take full ownership of a high-impact role? I am exclusively partnering with a pioneering European venture that’s driving the decarbonisation of a traditionally hard-to-abate industry. Backed by major global players and operating at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and policy, this organisation is looking for a Communications Manager to lead its storytelling, media presence, and community engagement.
Why This Role Is Unique
This is a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven initiative that’s tackling one of the world’s most complex climate challenges. You’ll work directly with senior leadership, shape messaging across multiple stakeholders, and support high-profile media events, panels, and webinars. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love turning complexity into clarity, this is your moment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Strategy: Own and evolve the communications strategy, aligning with business and stakeholder goals.
- Support Events: Help shape executive-led media engagements, panels, and webinars—crafting agendas, talking points, and narratives.
- Create Content: Develop compelling content across social media, newsletters, presentations, and web.
- Build Community: Design and manage engagement strategies for a growing coalition of stakeholders.
- Collaborate Widely: Work with partner organisations, agencies, and media to amplify the venture’s voice.
Who You Are
- A startup-savvy communicator who’s ready to build and lead from the ground up.
- A creative thinker who can simplify complex ideas and craft compelling narratives.
- Experienced in event management and confident in working with senior leaders.
- Passionate about climate action, innovation, and making a real-world impact.
- Based in the North West (UK) or nearby, with flexibility to travel to Europe every 6–8 weeks.
I am open to industry background—what matters most is your mindset, creativity, and ability to connect the dots.
With a salary of £45,000 - £50,000, travel expenses covered and an option to invoice as a contractor or permanent payroll, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is at the forefront of critical messaging and support to huge industry players!
