Civil Litigation Lawyer for Local Government
Your new company:
Take part in a highly hybrid team of specialist lawyers within a recognised public practice and help lead a team dealing with issues relating to civil litigation.
Your new role:
As a Civil Litigation Lawyer, you will conduct all aspects of legal work relevant to civil litigation matters, ranging from housing and homelessness, to licencing, judicial review, and insurance work, as well as collaborating with the rest of the civil litigation team. The initial duration of the assignment is 3 months, with a high likelihood of the contract being renewed indefinitely.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified as a lawyer
- Working experience in civil litigation
- Experience managing a team or individuals
- Knowledge of English law, local government law, equalities law, and data protection (desirable)
A DBS check, political restriction, and the right to work in the UK are needed for this role.
