Civil Site Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced Civils Site Engineer to join major infrastructure projects across the UK, covering highways, tunnels and bridge construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants to work on nationally significant schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways, tunnels, bridge structures and associated civils works
- Managing quality assurance, ITPs, RAMS and site documentation
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to spec
- Conducting surveys, as‑built records and progress reporting
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Supporting the site management team with technical input and problem‑solving
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways, tunnels or bridge projects
- Strong setting‑out skills (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD)
- Solid understanding of civils construction methods and standards
- CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
