This role involves managing budgets and forecasts, overseeing invoicing processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting through P&Ls and balance sheets. This role involves managing budgets and forecasts, overseeing invoicing processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting through P&Ls and balance sheets. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making.
- Invoicing and Revenue Management:
- Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review monthly P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key financial advisor to business units, providing insights and recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Present financial results and forecasts to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Strategic Support:
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial modelling and analysis.
- Participate in business planning and strategic development.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualified - ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
