Your new role
The Commercial Analyst will contribute to informed commercial decision-making across wholesale electricity markets, pricing strategy, forecasting, asset optimisation, and risk assessment. The role demands strong analytical and numerical capability, along with advanced modelling skills, to assess commercial opportunities within the UK power sector. This includes exposure to wholesale trading, capacity market participation, Contracts for Difference flexibility services, and an evolving regulatory landscape.
You will be expected to demonstrate clear, confident communication skills and strong interpersonal capabilities, alongside a genuine interest in developing commercial and trading expertise within a faster and more dynamic market environment.
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, you will support a range of short, medium and long-term activities linked to Triton Power’s existing operations and future growth plans.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Analysis and interpretation of power market trends and data
- Development and submission of tenders
- Coordination with, and performance assessment of, outsourced routes‑to‑market providers
- Pricing and strategic development
- Supporting investment cases for new commercial initiatives such as battery storage, stability and flexibility solutions, and revenue‑stacking strategies
- Medium to long-term market forecasting, including sensitivity testing, scenario modelling, and risk analysis
