Your new company

A well-established and growing insurance brokerage based in the City is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join its Commercial team. The firm provides bespoke insurance solutions to Mid to High-Net-Worth individuals and is known for its strong client relationships, technical expertise and high standards of service.

Your new role

Your new role as a Commercial Account Handler means that you will be building and maintaining client relationships, assessing customer insurance needs, and advising on suitable policies. Some of your key responsibilities will include negotiating with insurers to secure competitive pricing, managing policy renewals and handling claims on behalf of clients. It is essential to the role that you deliver exceptional customer service and stay informed about industry trends and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role, you must have experience in property owners’ insurance in a similar role and possess good knowledge of insurance products and markets. Proficiency in Acturis is essential, and you should also possess skills in other relevant software tools and databases utilised in the insurance industry. This role would suit a candidate that possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills alongside analytical and problem-solving abilities. It is beneficial if you possess a certificate in Insurance such as a CII qualification.
