Welfare Cleaner
Your new company
Hays are looking for a welfare cleaner to start on a large, long-term contract with a tier 1 contractor within L11 area.
Applicants must be located within 2 mile radius to L11 post code for social value target for this role.Hours: 8–12 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday and Thursday, 4–6 hours per shift
Your new role
- Cleaning and maintaining welfare facilities, including toilets, canteens, drying rooms, and communal areas.
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe for staff and visitors.
- Carrying out regular cleaning duties in line with site requirements and hygiene standards.
- Monitoring stock levels of cleaning products and consumables.
- Reporting shortages and assisting with ordering cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock is always available.
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a construction, industrial, or commercial environment.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent cleaning schedule.
