Tetra Tech, a global leader in high-end consulting and engineering services, is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join a dynamic Water Team in Belfast. You’ll contribute to the delivery of innovative and sustainable water infrastructure projects across the UK and beyond, helping shape resilient communities and environments.

Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with limited experience in water engineering to develop their skills in a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the design of water-related civil engineering projects, including drainage, flood risk, and water supply
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications
- Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Progress toward professional chartership (ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent), with structured support
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector
- Actively working towards chartership
- Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks ICM, and GIS tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery
