Your new school
This Bristol school is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic worker to join their team as soon as possible, working full-time in and out of the classroom with a multitude of students, specialising in SEND assistance. Helping children throughout the entirety of primary school. You will be working with an amazing team of teachers, Teaching Assistants and support staff alike. This BS11 school is on public transport routes and has a car park on site too.
Your new role
With this Teaching Assistant role, you will be taking on a leading role in the classroom, assisting with group activities as well as taking children out of lessons to give them the extra help that they need with one-to-one learning away from the class. This role may require you to deliver interventions to the class in numeracy, literacy or phonics, so these should be a strong point. The role includes helping with the safeguarding and well-being of the children attending the school whilst also assisting in their learning.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous experience working within a school is desirable
- Literacy, numeracy and phonics experience are desirable
