Location: Bradford

Hours: 8:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only, 30 hours per week)

About the Role
We are working with a warm, welcoming primary school in Bradford that is seeking an experienced Attendance & Parental Involvement Officer to join their team on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year in July 2026.
This is a Good Ofsted-rated school with excellent behaviour, a supportive leadership team, and a genuinely positive working environment. The successful candidate will be someone who can step confidently into the role and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, track, and analyse pupil attendance on a daily basis.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers
- Work closely with senior leaders, safeguarding staff, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare reports
- Support families facing barriers to attendance, offering guidance and signposting
- Promote parental engagement and involvement in school life
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an attendance, pastoral, or family support role
- Can hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- Communicates confidently and professionally with families and colleagues
- Is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s education.
- Understands safeguarding and confidentiality requirements
- Holds a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
